Our Mission As A Responsible Corporate Entity
Cari-Med Ltd believes that sustainable economic and social development is achievable for Jamaica through investment in the country’s youth and communities. This deep concern is manifested in Cari-Med Ltd’s pledge of human resources and corporate donations to the areas: education, sports and health.
While these areas enjoy the major share of the corporate donation's budget other areas are not neglected; significant contributions are made to numerous requests from a variety of sectors.
In keeping with our thrust to be a vital element of our community Cari-Med Ltd has made major contributions and pledges to health institutions specifically National Chest Hospital, Bustamante Hospital and The University Hospital of the West Indies.
In May, 2005 Cari-Med Ltd adopted Burke’s Basic School. The Cari-Med Ltd staff was delighted to be a part of this effort and spent time with teachers, students and parents in a labour-day project at the school.
With the aim of empowering Jamaica’s youth Cari-Med Ltd sponsors sporting events and athletic groups on a regular basis.
Cari-Med Ltd views contributing to the community as a pleasure as well as a responsibility. The company readily grasps opportunities to contribute to Jamaica’s development and remains committed to all present and future projects. |
