Today Cari-Med employs over 300 persons, a distant cry from the 3 persons it started with in 1986. The company is housed in over 140,000 sq. ft. of building with one of its distribution centres located at 36 Beechwood Avenue.

Cari-Med has maintained its place as a leader in innovation and business , due in no small part to its large investment in upgrading its information technology(IT) infrastructure, which has kept the company on the leading edge with current technologies.

Over the past twenty-five (25) years Cari-Med Ltd has grown to become the Caribbean's leading distributor of pharmaceuticals and fast moving consumer goods. The company was founded by Mr. Glenford Christian in 1986, who like a true visionary aimed to revolutionize the pharmaceutical industry and offer Jamaicans an alternative to pharmaceutical brand name drugs.
